The Board of the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency has formed a Carpenter Trade Advisory Committee (TAC) to work with industry to investigate training and certification that better matches the way in which human resources are utilized within the trade. As part of its ongoing efforts, TAC is exploring creating certifications for each of the four concentrations of the Carpenter trade:
. These proposed certifications would not replace certification in the Red Seal trade and be available for individuals who do not work across the full scope of the Carpenter trade. The TAC is interested in better understanding your viewpoints and opinions on such an approach.
This survey is being conducted by Corporate Research Associates, an independent firm. Your responses will be confidential, and only overall results will be shared. Note, results from this study will be shared on the NSAA website.
